The Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York, a nonprofit civil legal services program, is seeking a Grants Manager. About the Role
The Grants Manager will lead and support our grant-related initiatives. They will collaborate with various stakeholders and gather data from various sources to ensure the successful submission of grant applications and the timely completion of reports for LASNNY's diverse funding portfolio. Additionally, the Grants Manager will serve as one of our administrators for Legal Server, our case management system, making improvements in its use to better support our mission and operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management expertise, experience with case management or database reporting, exceptional communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams. Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify grant requirements, assign tasks, and manage the collection, organization, packaging, and input of information from various stakeholders and systems for timely grant applications and ongoing grant reporting.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data provided in grant applications and reports.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of current grants and required submissions, grant applications and outcomes, and grant opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships and grant communications with internal staff, external agency partners and grantor program managers.
- Serve as one of the software administrators for our online case management system, Legal Server, including some configuration and maintenance of the system.
- Identify opportunities for improving data collection and reporting, and overall grant administration.
- Continually assess organizational needs and system capabilities to ensure Legal Server is updated and used to its fullest capabilities.
- Work with the Director of Operations and leadership to provide training and support to staff on the use of Legal Server.

Work Environment
This position operates in a professional law office environment and occasionally may require the carrying of regular office supplies. This role requires the use of standard office equipment and software and remote videoconferencing platforms.
