Legal Aid of San Bernardino (LASSB) has an immediate, full-time position for an

Legal Aid Society of San Bernardino is a 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1958 to provide civil legal services to the indigent and needy. Since its formation, LASSB has continually offered free legal services to the needy to protect their rights and assist them in remedying problems that affect their daily lives. We provide free legal services throughout the vast county of San Bernardino. Responsibilities
· Answers inbound phone calls and returns calls with professionalism, enthusiasm, and compassion
· Assists the public at the door and determines purpose of their visit
· Pre-screens applicants via phone and assigns to advocate
· Shows empathy to clients and puts them at ease during their difficult time
· Ensures reception area is clean and presentable, with all necessary resource materials
· Receives, scans, and copies documents to legal staff
· Assists attorney and paralegals with delegated office tasks
Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) with full proficiency
· Customer service and/or sales experience
· Ability to manage their time and multi-task effectively
· Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure; and
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel)
· Punctual and professional
· Ability to communicate effectively with a range of individuals
· Ability to exhibit compassion, empathy, and professionalism
Salary : $35,360 - $39,520
