We're seeking an experienced Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join our team! Immediate opening in a small boutique personal injury Law Firm in South Tampa! Responsibilities :
Assist the Attorney in case management from intake through case settlement or trial.
Draft and file complaints in personal injury cases, including;
Automobile accident cases
Trucking accident cases
Premises liability cases
Wrongful death cases
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree, law degree, paralegal program, and / or paralegal certification preferred.
Two (2) to five (5 ) years of previous experience in personal injury and litigation.
Able to draft and file complaints in personal injury cases, automobile accident cases, premises liability cases and wrongful death cases.
Motivation for learning in the firm with the managing attorney.
Excellent organization and computer application skills.
Familiarity with E-filing.
Ability to type 70 WPM.
Working knowledge of computer software programs (i.e. Word, WordPerfect, Westlaw, and Outlook).
Strong communication and time management skills.
