Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned personal injury high value cases
• Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, health care entities to gather information, provide updates, and coordinate patient care
• Ensure all necessary documentation and paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Assist in coordinating patient care and follow-up appointments.
• Provide support and guidance to patients and their families throughout the case management process
• Utilize case management software to track and document case progress.
• Gathering medical reports
• Getting insurance information from the defendant
• Assisting in preparing settlement demands
• Determining the extent of damage covered by the insurance policy, along with other basic litigation duties
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in any field, 10 years of personal injury case management experience required
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Previous experience working in the legal field, especially in medical law or healthcare law, is a significant advantage.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and relevant legal regulations.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to critically evaluate medical records and complex medical information.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and client interaction.
• Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
• Ability to manage a high caliber caseload while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• Experience assisting doctors and patients in a healthcare setting
