Attorney - Entry Level Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury

Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of experience working in the matters of plaintiff medical malpractice and personal injury as an attorney or as a law student.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will work alongside seasoned attorneys handling plaintiff malpractice cases and attending the trial.
Oversee all aspects of case management, including strategy development, negotiations, and trial preparation.
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and handle complex motion practice.
Collaborate with managing partners on developing and implementing firm-wide strategies, goals and initiatives.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPI’s), utilizing data to drive decision-making and improve performance.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professional development, and a strong work ethic.
Interview clients to learn about the malpractice experience
Investigate the operations of medical professionals to determine whether malpractice has occurred
Conducting research on the conditions clients experience so they can speak about them in court
Drafting motions to use in courtroom proceedings
Collecting medical records to analyze evidence
Recording depositions from medical professionals and other employees at a medical facility where malpractice has occurred
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active Florida Bar license.
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience practicing personal injury law with a focus on the plaintiff side as an attorney or as a law student.
In-depth understanding of key performance indicators and reporting metrics within a legal setting.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and foster a positive work environment.
Passion for helping others and a goal of first chair trial experience.
