Contract Attorney Position

Part Time
Our client, a law firm in Broward County is seeking a contract attorney to join them in a temporary, contract capacity.
This position will be mostly remote, with occasional court appearances. This is a part-time role and could be anywhere from 5-20 hours a week.
Responsibilities / Skills :
- Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
- Conduct thorough legal research and provide insightful analysis of case law
- Possess strong oral advocacy skills when attending hearings and court conferences
- Prepare for and participate in hearings
- Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel
- Deliver exceptional legal guidance and support to clients
- Be a self-starter with exceptional attention to detail
- Manage, multitask, and prioritize assigned matters effectively
- Produce and execute high-quality legal work product
- Strong interpersonal skills for successful collaboration with colleagues and clients
