Nationally known insurance defense firm with over 50 years of continued service seeks a motivated attorney to join its busy Pensacola Florida location!

Ideal candidates will have 1-5 years attorney experience working in insurance defense. This includes litigation in a variety of areas including premises liability, catastrophic injury,medical malpractice, personal injury, product liability, construction defect and injury, public entity and civil rights, commercial auto and trucking cases among others.
Responsibilities:
- Managing caseload from inception to post-trial
- Attending court conferences, oral arguments, depositions, mediations, and trials
- Preparing pleadings, discovery/discovery responses, motions, and other litigation documents
- Preparing timely reports regarding case status and ongoing activities
- Ability to prioritize workload based on deadlines
- Communicating effectively with clients, senior attorneys and paralegals
- Meeting billing requirements
- Completing tasks as assigned in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be a member in good standing of the Florida bar
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills with the ability to interact with attorneys, paralegals, court personnel, opposing counsel, clients, and office staff in a professional manner.
- Ability to delegate and prioritize as necessary.
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
