Our client is a well-respected Law Firm in Newark, NJ. It is currently seeking a Corporate Associate to join its dynamic team in Newark, NJ. This is a unique opportunity to work with a highly regarded firm that values excellence and client-focused service in corporate law.
Key Responsibilities :
Draft, review, and negotiate key and ancillary documents for M&A, financing, joint ventures, technology collaborations / licensing, and other corporate and commercial transactions.
Collaborate closely with clients’ business and legal teams to address a range of corporate matters.
Provide strategic and practical advice to clients on legal risks, opportunities, and implications related to corporate transactions.
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional legal services.
Qualifications :
4-7 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on handling complex transactions.
Proficiency in drafting and negotiating transaction documents with high attention to detail.
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, paired with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.
Licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey, New York a plus. Both are preferred.
Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain strong client relationships.
