Overview
We’re working with a Los Angeles based boutique environmental law firm that has an IMMEDIATE need for an experienced environmental attorney to assist their team on a consulting/contract basis. Responsibilities will include environmental research with a focus on regulatory compliance with federal, state and local environmental laws, including those relating to water quality, wastewater and storm water, water rights, air quality, hazardous and solid waste, state laws (such as Proposition 65), the conduct of compliance audits, and self-reporting under state and federal audit/voluntary disclosure policies.
The work may be done remotely, but the ability to go into the firm’s office in downtown Los Angeles occasionally for meetings is a plus.
For consideration, candidates should have verystrong academic credentials, at least 7-10 years of environmental regulatory compliance experience (including California environmental law). Active admission in good standing with the bar is required; admission in California is preferred but not required.

Pay: $100.00 - $130.00 per hour
