What are the responsibilities and job description for the California Litigation Contract Attorney (Environmental) - IMMEDIATE Need position at Legalpeople LLC?
Overview
We’re working with a Los Angeles based boutique environmental law firm that has an IMMEDIATE need for an experienced commercial/civil litigation attorney to support its busy practice. Responsibilities include legalresearch and drafting, as well as case management, for various active matters. This need is anticipated to be part to full-time (up to 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday) and long-term/ongoing, but the hours may vary from week to week. The work may be done remotely, but the ability to go into the firm’s office occasionally for meetings is a plus.
For consideration, candidates should have verystrong academic credentials, at least 7-10 years of complex commercial or civil litigation experience (including some experience in a BigLaw setting), and active admission in good standing with the California bar. Prior environmental litigation is not required, but is a plus.
