Duties
- Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current food trends and customer preferences.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to create catering options for special events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations.
- Assist in bartending duties as needed during peak service times or special events.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Chef role or similar position within the restaurant or food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food service management principles and practices.
