Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Host to join our team at Legami. As the first point of contact for our guests, the Host/Hostess plays a vital role in ensuring a warm and welcoming dining experience. This position is responsible for managing the front-of-house operations, including seating guests, managing reservations, and providing exceptional customer service.
**Responsibilities**
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that they are comfortable and well taken care of throughout their dining experience.
- Manage reservations and taking reservations using RESY
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including the host stand, waiting area, and restrooms.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Assist with guest services, such as helping guests with their coats or providing directions.
- Help to maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere within the restaurant.
- Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure seamless service.
- Be knowledgeable about the restaurant's menu and make recommendations to guests when requested.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in the food service industry, preferably in a restaurant or fine dining setting.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
