Position Overview:
The Events Sales Manager will serve as an important member of our management team, responsible for coordinating and executing a diverse range of events. This role will act as the main liaison between the members, prospective couples, planning committees, vendors, and attendees, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of outstanding events. From conception to post-event evaluation, the Event Sales Manager will oversee all aspects of event sales, planning and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for event inquiries, providing timely and professional assistance to attendees, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate all administrative tasks related to event planning, including venue selections, contract negotiation, and budget management.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure the smooth execution of events, including coordinating F&B services, entertainment, and logistics.
- Manage RSVPs and attendee communication, maintaining accurate guest lists and responding to inquiries promptly.
- Oversee on-site event logistics, including setup, breakdown, and coordination of staff and volunteers.
- Maintain comprehensive records of event details, expenses, and attendee feedback for post-event evaluation and reporting.
- Provide administrative support to the COO and other departments as needed, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
- Actively engage in sales activities, focusing on securing wedding sales and member events, contributing to the growth and success of the organization.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Minimum of two years of experience in event coordination or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and event management software.
- Experience in sales, with an emphasis on promoting and selling wedding events and other member-centric activities.
Education and Training:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
