Role Overview

Legend Biotech is seeking a Cell Therapy Automation Intern as part of the Automation team based in Somerset, NJ. This is a unique opportunity for a student pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, or a related field to gain hands-on experience in cell therapy process automation. The intern will work closely with our scientists and engineers to support cell culture, immune cell processing, molecular biology assays, and flow cytometry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in mammalian cell culture, including expansion and maintenance of immune cells (T cells)
• Support flow cytometry experiments, including sample preparation and data acquisition.
• Participate in the optimization and automation of cell therapy workflow experiments using lab automation tools.
• Assist in analyzing experimental data and documenting results for internal reports and presentations.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Currently pursuing (or recently graduated from ) a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Cell Biology, or a related field
• Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and familiarity with immune cell processing (T cells )
• Basic knowledge of molecular biology techniques. Familiarity with flow cytometry and experience in data analysis is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
