Clinical Trial Landscape Intern

Legend Biotech is seeking a Clinical Trial Landscape Intern as part of the Translational team based in Somerset, NJ.

Role Overview

Cell therapies present an entirely new paradigm in drug development. Over 5000 oncology programs and greater than 900 non-oncology cell therapy programs are under therapeutic development. On-going clinical trial and early clinical trial results are crucial to understand the complex landscape. Early-stage Drug Development department is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic intern to assist our team in understanding the cell therapy clinical trials and researching the broader therapy landscape. The intern will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in clinical research and gain a deeper understanding of the drug development process. This internship will provide hands-on experience in monitoring clinical trial progress, data analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in tracking ongoing clinical trials, including recruitment status, phase progress, and key milestones.
• Support the preparation of reports summarizing drug design, trial timelines, recruitment efforts, trial results.
• Assist in reviewing and interpreting clinical trial results from publicly available data and clinical trial registries.
• Perform clinical trial data analysis using R to generate actionable insights on the progress of specific therapeutic areas.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor/graduate’s degree program, preferably in Science/Biology filed.
• Strong reading comprehension skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with data entry best practices and principles.
• Proven experience working with R for data analysis and visualization.
