Legend Oaks Healthcare and Rehab in Garland, TX is looking for a Full-time Housekeeper/Laundry Aide for our skilled nursing facility. Come Join our team!
Duties:
- Performs housekeeping services to keep facility an resident rooms clean.
- Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas.
- Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc., in resident rooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed.
- Clean windows/mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrance/exit ways.
- Clean floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting, etc
- passing clean personal clothing to correct resident rooms
- helping fold laundry and run machines as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
