Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary draws on patients of all ages.
- Prepare and label blood samples accurately for testing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations.
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
- Monitor patients during the blood draw process to ensure their comfort and safety.
- Document all procedures and maintain accurate records of patient interactions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient workflow in the laboratory.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a phlebotomy training program is preferred.
- Certification as a Phlebotomist from an accredited organization is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Previous experience in a clinical or laboratory setting is a plus but not mandatory.
