Summary:
The Assistant Distribution Center Manager will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our distribution center. Working closely with the Distribution Center Manager, this position will assist in managing the workforce, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, and ensuring the efficient flow of products through the facility.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing and supervising warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
  • Coordinate with the Distribution Center Manager to develop and implement operational procedures to improve safety, accuracy, and efficiencies
  • Support established material control processes, including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and reconciliations as needed to support inventory integrity
  • Monitor shipping and replenishment activities to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Purchasing, Sales, and Customer Service, to optimize processes and resolve issues
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company policies and regulations
  • Assist in conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with company and industry standards
  • Ensure the warehouse is maintained in a neat, clean, and organized fashion
  • Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment in line with Legend’s culture and values
  • Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for warehouse staff, retaining of high-quality team members who exhibit our values



Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred)
  • 4 years of experience in warehouse operations, distribution, or logistics
  • Strong understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and team management experience
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
