Regatta Bay Golf Course is located in the beautiful city of Destin, FL which is nestled in the heart of Florida’s Emerald Coast. We are a top ranked golf course, which is semi-private but also open to the public. Our Regatta Bay Clubhouse offers first-class dining for breakfast, lunch, dinner, Sunday Brunch and catered events. Job Title: Server-Bartender
Reports To: Director of Food & Beverage
Summary: The Server-Bartender works in the front of the house serving golf members and customers, taking orders, presenting food and drinks, and removing dishes/glassware in a timely manner. They work closely with the kitchen and club management staff to ensure the restaurant is operated efficiently. **Hourly rate is $15 tips! Must be available to work afternoons, weekends plus events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Engage with customers/members in a friendly manner and seat them as needed.
- Answer questions about the menu, specials, and facilities.
- Make suggestions based on customer/member tastes and preferences.
- Verify identification and age requirements of customers.
- Mix traditional and creative cocktails.
- Build a rapport with regular customers/members to create a positive atmosphere.
- Accurately record food and drink orders.
- Communicate orders to the kitchen staff in a timely fashion.
- Process payment from customers/members.
- Clean and/or polish glasses, silverware, bar utensils, dining tables, and bar.
- Record and balance cash and credit card receipts and prepare cash deposits.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year experience in food & beverage or related field preferred
Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements
Knowledge
- Passionate about hospitality.
- Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the game of golf is an asset.
- Multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills are critical. Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
- Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.

Other Qualifications
Availability Open and operational seven days a week. Employees are required to be available to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays.
License Requirements Valid driver’s license that has been in effect for at least three years, with no major violations and no more than two minor violations in the past three years.
