The Executive Casino Host is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with guests with an emphasis on the development of high-end level play. The primary objections are to convert first-time players to repeat visitors, minimize attrition of the high-end segment and provide support to the Marketing/Special Event team for the successful operation of the department.
Job Requirements
- Establish and maintain influential business relationships with the premium player base through timely and personal communication.
- Proactively issue comps as appropriate after analysis of play, frequency, loss of ADT.
- Maintains current knowledge of all events, promotions, and special functions, to provide guests with accurate information.
- Monitor activities and promotions of the competitive market.
- Drive increased visitation by communicating with premium rated players through focus telemarketing, letter writing, email, or in person, about services, promotional opportunities, and special events.
- Promptly responds to guest concerns in a considerate, professional manner.
- Create a friendly, comfortable, and exciting atmosphere for all guests.
- MC casino events, drawings, VIP events, parties and celebrate winners on the casino floor.
- Provide strategic input into the development and execution of marketing plans to grow the database.
- Recommend and implements strategies to develop new players and increase return visits for high level casino guests,
- Make appropriate decisions regarding comps based on recorded play, earned points, comp availability and customer profitability,
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED; Marketing or other related degree desired
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Casino Host, with an emphasis in Marketing.
- Telemarketing experience preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Excellent guest service and people skills.
- Experience with Casino Marketplace Player tracking system.
- Understanding of the evaluation of the players theoretical worth.
- Must have excellent math skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
