Description
The Fine Dining Hostess will be responsible for providing service to Dukes Steakhouse in a manner which ensures excellent customer service and a professional environment resulting in increased customer loyalty.
Job Requirements:
- Provide friendly, responsive and professional guest service.
- Build positive rapport with guests when escorting them to their table.
- Accommodate guest requests regarding seating.
- Manage seating rotations for each section.
- Highlight wine promotions.
- Communicate guest needs to leadership regarding celebrations such as anniversaries or birthday and other special occasions.
- Communicate guest concerns or compliments to leadership.
- Evaluate the flow of business and then staff accordingly.
- Make guest reservations and maintain current reservations within procedural guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Highschool diploma/GED.
- Previous fine dining experience preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must comply with all health codes and regulations.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
- Knowledge of casino environment.
- Thorough knowledge of wine preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
