Description
Lead Shift Porter is a working lead position that is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the property and assists with the supervision of the Porter team. Will also be responsible for delegating tasks between team members and ensuring they are completed in a timely manner.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to follow instructions and make sure that instructions are understood by all team members within their shift.
- Assist the Property Operations Coordinator as needed.
- Report any maintenance concerns to the Engineering department in a timely manner during shift.
- Must work as a team and fairly distribute work within their shift.
- Keep assigned sections clean to include emptying of garbage.
- Ensure that bathrooms are kept clean and free of debris.
- Inventory of supplies and tools needed to perform job duties.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Conduct shift-based special cleaning projects and collaborate with team members to proactively complete them in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of one year of experience in a lead or supervisory capacity is desired.
- Experience with overseeing property cleaning is desired.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends. holidays, and special events.
- Ability to successfully interact with all levels of team members including management.
- Arriving on time and maintaining regular attendance is considered an essential function of this position.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
