REGIONAL IT SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Reporting directly to the Regional VP of Information Technology. We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team! As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining new and existing systems and infrastructure.

The IT Systems Engineer will be the key individual responsible for the architecture, implementation, and management of key IT systems, including (but not limited to) all server configurations, VPNs, firewalls, databases, and cloud services. This will be a collaborative role, working with the IT teams at both properties.

Job Requirements:

• Establish high availability and quality of service for all key systems
• Plan and implement new systems
• Suggest new ideas and solutions to problems
• Determine bottleneck in the current systems and suggest solutions to problems
• Determine issues with business Internet connectivity, WAN technologies, remote access and VPN configuration
• Participate in security management
• Use diagnostic tools to determine deficiencies
• Suggest and oversee improvement processes
• Stay up to date with latest technology and best practices
• Establish high availability and quality of service for all key systems
• Maintain and constantly improve existing systems
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitive information

Qualifications

 Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, IT, or similar field from four-year college or university preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years related work experience with one to three years related work experience in Casino, Hospitality and/or Banking or Entertainment industry or other high volume, complex, demanding customer-oriented IT environment.
• Advanced level experience and/or certification for Microsoft business products (o365, AD, SPO, Teams, etc.)
• Strong experience with network infrastructure and high availability services (VPN, firewalls, Wi-Fi APs, routers, QoS, etc.)
• Very good understanding and knowledge of networking and application-level operations
• Ability to quickly diagnose issues and suggest solutions
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) highly desirable
• VMWare Certification highly desirable
• Hyper-V Certification highly desirable
• Cisco Certification highly desirable
• Experience with and knowledge of operating systems and server solutions (Exchange, SQL, Terminal Services (RDS), IIS, AD)
