Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Food Runner/Busser to join our team. The Food Runner will be responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables in a timely manner, and for helping servers to keep the dining area clean and presentable.
Responsibilities
- Transport food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables promptly and accurately
- Ensure all items on the order are included and presented correctly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food delivery
- Assist in bussing and resetting tables when needed
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen, and management
- Familiarity with POS systems for order tracking
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation and basic cooking techniques is a plus
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
