Duties
- Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
- Support the culinary team in catering events and restaurant service by preparing ingredients and setting up cooking stations.
- Follow food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and quality food presentation.
- Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
Skills
- Experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred, but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary techniques is a plus.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
