What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing and Social Media Specialist - NOT REMOTE position at Legends of Seneca?
Must be able to work full-time, year-round and roughly our retail hours (9am-6pm Tuesday thru Friday and 9a-3pm most Saturdays. In addition, must be willing to work events on the some weekends. We hold 4-6 events per year.
The Marketing Specialist must be SUPER ENERGETIC, CREATIVE, and SOCIAL MEDIA SAVVY. You must be proactive and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Job Expectations:
- Manage marketing efforts that may include but is not limited to: Fresh and Up to Date Website Pages, Direct Mail, Email Marketing, Google Ad-words Management, Call Tracking, Social media, and In-store and Store Front Graphic Design and Marketing.
- Develop, implement and monitor social media initiatives, such as campaigns, that support key strategic objectives.
- Manage the online social media presence for the Powersports Group Brand
- Contribute to the creative process for social and other marketing materials.
- Create and present annual marketing plan to the corporate team for approval.
- Manage Co-OP through all of the manufactures to ensure we are capitalizing on all available funds.
- Make sure machine phones are up date date on our website
- Work with local radio stations / newspaper / TV stations on ads
- Plan and Coordinate community events as discussed in annual marketing plan
Additional Expectations:
- Will attend events, organize events, and put their face out in the public - must be willing and enthusiastic
- MUST already have a proven HEAVY SOCIAL MEDIA EXPERIENCE -
Preferably including live feeds, Instagram & Tik Tok posting. Upon application, expect to share examples to support why you would be the best candidate for this position!!
- Passion and enthusiasm for powersports strongly preferred but not required.

Eligible for Overtime pay for all hours worked over 40 hours per week.
Additional Benefits for Full Time Employment positions:

Additional Experience:
- Proven experience managing social media platforms for a brand or organization
- Proficient in proofreading and editing content for accuracy and clarity
- Familiarity with web research techniques to gather information for content creation
- Knowledge of digital marketing principles and strategies
- Experience with e-commerce platforms is a plus
- Basic video editing and photography skills are a plus
