We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating exceptional experiences for our guests through excellent service, innovative cocktails, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Manage inventory by tracking drink supplies, ordering stock as needed, and minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events or busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilizing basic math skills for sales calculations.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down bar areas for special events or banquets.
- Stay informed about drink trends, new products, and menu changes to provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy shifts.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
- Basic math proficiency for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus but not required.
- Must be of legal drinking age as per state regulations.
