The Role
The Cafe Associate is responsible for preparing and cooking food items that result in high quality of taste and appearance to satisfy guests and maximize food revenues both in the café and for catered/special events. They also help run Front of House run smoothly with bussing, tidiness and ocassional bar backing.

Responsibilities:
- Observe and practice all established health and sanitation procedures.
- Ability for food presentation for catered and special events.
- Assist with creating seasonal, café, and catering menus.
- Ensure all product is held to Health Code standard
- Ensure the proper rotation, labeling and dating of all products.
- Keep work area clean, sanitized, and organized.
- Keep management informed of inventory needs
- Coordinate orders to ensure they are cooked timely and with accuracy
- Assist with re-stocking of all paper supplies and food items as needed.
- Assist other positions when needed.
- Perform all opening and closing procedures as indicated in the Employee Training Manual.
- May be assigned to work multiple stations throughout the shift.Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in food preparation in a fast paced environment.• Must be able to interact verbally and listen attentively to co-workers and managers.
• Ability to follow written and oral direction.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently.Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
- Punctuality as outlined in our attendance policy
- Flexibility is a must
- Excellent customer service at all times
- MAST required
- Food Handler's permit required
This is a small and tight team- team work and punctuality is key to success.

Pay $21 - $22/hr DOE plus tip share
