THE ROLEThe Inspector / Quality Assurance role is responsible for ensuring the customer end product meets Company and customer standards and specifications in a fast-paced silkscreen operation.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSThe quality control and production facilitator plays a vital role in the ongoing production functions of the Company. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. The essential duties and responsibilities of the position include : Monitoring print qualityCounting and sorting garmentsVerifying accuracy to customer specificationsTagging and boxingCompleting work ordersAssisting press operators as neededMaintains a clean organized work areaFunctions well as part of a team with the entire production departmentOther DutiesThe quality control and production facilitator has additional ongoing functional responsibilities, including : Assists in the development and / or institutes new procedures to improve accuracy and quality of productsQUALIFICATIONSBased on the essential and other duties and responsibilities of the position, the quality control and production facilitator should have a number of professional skills and abilities : Accuracy and strong attention to detail is requiredAbility to effectively prioritize responsibilities, meet assigned deadlines, and manage the related stressSound organizational, records management, time management skillsCOMPENSATIONHourly rate of $17.00-$19.00WORKING CONDITIONSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
