THE ROCK AT LA CANTERA
Partnered with the NBA San Antonio Spurs, The Rock at La Cantera is a 50-acre development which includes the Victory Capital Performance Center, Frost Plaza outdoor event space, and the Tuscan inspired Roca and Martillo Restaurant.
THE ROLE
The Premium Membership Sales Manager is responsible for achieving or exceeding Spurs Club Membership sales goals, by pre-planning with targeted strategic outreach, partnering with the San Antonio Spurs on lead generation and referral handoff, and securing members referrals through networking and developing curated events.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Research, analyze, and develop profit generating opportunities.
- Proactively solicit new business by, among other things, making sales calls and presentations, and engaging in other client prospecting to increase the size of the Spurs Club membership database.
- Work closely and build relationships with the Spurs organization, business owners, and the local community.
- Manage and direct membership sales by conducting walk-throughs and facility visits and being the primary contact for clients.
- Prepare and provide required reports to the Director of the Spurs Club including revenue reports, profit and loss statements, sales recaps, and projections.
- Obtain feedback from clients to determine and analyze client satisfaction, organizational performance, risks and liabilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Two years of premium sales experience.
- Resourceful, innovative, and forward thinking, with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Expertise in financial analysis and planning, budgeting, and marketing.
- Working knowledge of local and regional markets, venue operations and special events.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in spreadsheet, database, and word processing programs.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
- Can be trusted to act in a manner that is truthful and values direct, honest communication at all levels of the organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills; can effectively communicate and relate to all levels within and outside the organization; creates and builds positive and productive relationships.
- Detail Oriented
- Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skill.
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
