As Branch Controller you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of operational and cross functional discussions to drive the business to greater results. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by using analytical skills to drive the business financial success. So, what will you be doing as a Branch Controller?
- Responsible for the management of the month end close processes including journal entry preparation, reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
- Maintain compliance with policy and procedures and assist with Internal and External Audit requests.
- Develop relationships with Branch personnel to provide financial and analytical support and assist in driving business results.
- Fulfill requests of Corporate Departments (Accounting, Tax, Risk, Credit, etc.)
- Ownership of branch BOM’s including material, routing and manning.
- Cost Accounting analysis to bridge variances between standards materials, overheads, and actual results.
- Input when estimating and quoting new products.
- Cross train office staff and be familiar with all job responsibilities to support as needed.
- Special projects as requested by management.
