Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our team in Bowling Green, Missouri. The Industrial Painter will be responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and other coatings to a variety of surfaces on our custom-manufactured industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with different painting techniques and equipment, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and applying primers.
• Painting: Apply paint, varnish, and other coatings to surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Quality Control: Inspect painted surfaces for flaws, ensuring that the final product meets quality standards and specifications.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean painting equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Color Matching: Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and finishes as specified in project requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including types of paint and materials used.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an industrial painter or in a similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with various painting techniques and equipment, including spray guns, brushes, and rollers.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
• Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety practices and regulations in an industrial setting.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification: Certification in industrial painting or coating applications.
• Experience: Experience with custom manufacturing and knowledge of different coating types and applications.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
