Key Responsibilities:
- Community Visibility & Representation: Act as a visible, approachable representative of our clients across events, campuses, and public spaces. Prioritize building presence in a way that aligns with our values and amplifies the visibility of the candidate and their message.
- Timely & Professional Presence: Arrive on time and maintain a professional, grounded demeanor during all outreach activities. Your conduct should reflect respect for the communities we engage with and the candidates we represent.
- Conversational Impact & Performance Goals: Consistently meet and exceed performance benchmarks by focusing on high-quality interactions that spark interest in and support for the candidate. Quotas matter—but the conversations and connections matter more.
- Script Fluency with Flexibility: Learn and internalize talking points to guide effective outreach, while remaining nimble and conversational. Use the script as a foundation, not a barrier, to creating personalized and engaging dialogue centered around the candidate's vision.
- Driven, People-Focused Outreach: Uphold high standards in all outreach efforts by showing up with purpose, presence, and people-first energy. Let every interaction be a chance to create real visibility for the candidate and a genuine moment for the community to feel heard
- Monday - Friday: 11am-3pm & 4pm-8pm
- Saturday & Sunday: 11am-3pm & 4pm-8pm
- Canvassers must work a minimum of four shifts per week (more is encouraged)
- Attendance & Performance Policy:
- Three-strike policy for flaking on scheduled shifts, lateness, or underperformance
Requirements
- Previous experience in canvassing, sales, or customer service is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt and engage in varied conversational styles
- Strong work ethic, with a demonstrated commitment to achieving set targets and maintaining high professional standards
- Ability to memorize and effectively use talking points and scripts while being adaptable in conversations
- Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
- Pay is $20/hr
