Director, Head of Security Operations (Vietnam & APAC)

Core Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the security team covering Vietnam and APAC, ensuring the team is motivated and continuously developing the necessary skills and capabilities to effectively manage security operations in the region.
- Manage security operations in accordance with defined standards, budgets, and performance KPIs. This includes preparation for and support to internal and external audits and ensuring compliance with relevant security standards and external certifications.
- Ensure ongoing risk assessments and business impact analysis are maintained for all sites in the region in accordance with defined tools and standards, evaluating and defining appropriate measures to mitigate identified risks to protect LEGO assets, property, and people.
- Ensure new and existing security infrastructure is operating and maintained in accordance with global LEGO Security standards, including ongoing review and input to global standards and addressing gaps identified during internal and external audits.
- Ensure effective execution of security-related projects, workstreams, and installations (new or upgrade of existing installations) within the region in accordance with the LEGO Project Model, coordinating efforts and managing relations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee and direct investigations of theft and confidentiality of LEGO assets within the region, ensuring collaboration with the global investigation lead (SEC), internal stakeholders in legal, HR, and Site management / General Managers, and with external authorities, documenting and reporting efforts and results into NAVEX.
- Responsible for Crisis Management in the region, ensuring local site emergency management teams and contingency plans are in place and compliant with the LEGO Group Crisis & Incident Management standard, securing regular training of members of the local crisis organization.
- Responsible for mobilization of the Crisis Management Organization in accordance with the defined escalation path in the event of incidents & emergencies, ensuring appropriate communication to and between stakeholders in the event of a crisis or emergency in the region.
- Support on ad-hoc requests and tasks for security services in the region including but not limited to Executive & Event protection, criminal and fraud investigation, and security risk assessments for existing / new locations and projects within the region.
