Position Overview:
As a Seasonal Resort Operations Associate, you will play a key role in creating a positive experience for guests by providing exceptional service, ensuring safety, and maintaining park operations. This role involves interacting with guests, assisting with events, and supporting various park departments as needed such as, but not limited to, Admissions, overall park presentation, handling Point of Sale transactions, and working in retail departments throughout the park.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Interaction:
- Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Provide information and assistance regarding park attractions, events, and amenities.
- Address guest questions, concerns, and feedback professionally and courteously.
Safety and Compliance:
- Monitor guest activity to ensure adherence to park rules and safety regulations.
- Report any safety concerns or hazards to the appropriate supervisor.
- Notify supervisor/manager of any guest/coworker first aid needs and follow emergency procedures.
Resort Quality:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned areas, including ride queues, guest seating, and common areas. Keeping walkways and restrooms clean.
- The use of power equipment, such as air blowers and pressure washers
- Report maintenance needs and equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other associates and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
- Cross-training into other departments/areas, such as Admissions, Retail and if needed and eligible Rides
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings during the park's operating season.
- Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members.

In particular, they must ensure that they follow safe working procedures for all work activities that they undertake and they must not use any tools or equipment for which they have not been trained. Where incidents do occur, they must ensure that they are reported to their line manager and must cooperate with any investigation as appropriate.
