What you'll bring to the team

Responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service in the Water Park Cabana areas. The primary function of this position is to provide outstanding service by providing food service to Cabana Guests and assisting our Guests with questions, concerns or special requests. Maintains cleanliness and presentation of cabanas, surrounding areas, and Water Park, and accuracy of cash drawer. Also, supports Water Park Operations team as needed

 

Essential functions:

 Responds to needs of Guests by providing food service, information about the Resort, and other service requests, such as suitability for rides and attractions.

  • Ensures any guests who wish to take advantage of the alcohol service are properly identified as being a person above the age of 21.

  • Performs opening and closing routines for the department as defined by the operating procedures, including cashing in and out. Handles cash and credit card transactions.

  • Checks guests into Cabanas including quarter-hourly check ups.

  • Ensures cleanliness in all aspects of the Water Park area, including sweeping, restocking, and prepping Cabanas for re-sale.

  • Inspects Cabanas daily to ensure equipment is in proper working order, accountable for all Cabana items.

  • Communicates with other Cabana Hosts and Cabana Leads to complete and coordinate food orders and check-ins.

  • Assists in any other areas of the Water Park operation as needed, including working shifts at Turnstiles and Ticket Window

  • Works toward department and company goals and presents ideas for continuous improvement.

  • Must have good understanding of the English language. Requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Bilingual skills are preferred. Requires excellent organizational and planning skills

  • Ability to compute basic arithmetic and handle money

  • Food handler’s card and alcohol handling license required (training is provided as needed)

  • Strong problem solving skills and dedication to providing outstanding guest service.

  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to support park operations.

This role is seasonal and has an end date of November 14th, 2025. 

Qualifications & Experience

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum one year of experience in a guest service or food service type role. Theme Park or related customer service experience is preferred.

 

Education:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Must be 18 years or older
