Legow Management Company, L.L.C., is a family owned and operated real estate investment and management business, spanning three generations and almost fifty years in business. We own and manage 35 rental apartment communities throughout New Jersey and one in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
We are currently seeking a Superintendent for 3 garden apartment communities, Brandywyne Brielle and Brandywyne East in Brielle, NJ, and Waterway Apartments, in Point Pleasant, NJ, for a total of 168 units. Our Superintendent works closely with the maintenance team and Leasing Agent in providing outstanding customer service to our residents.

The Superintendent will be responsible for the overall physical condition of the buildings and the grounds around the buildings. Responsibilities include the following:
· Upkeep of the building, including structural, plumbing and electrical repairs.
· Installation, maintenance, cleaning or repair of the following items: appliances, hardwood floors, ceramic tile, sheet rock, doors, window hardware, medicine cabinets.
· Supervise and install kitchen and bath upgrades.
· Supervising all landscaping, weeding, and grass cutting in order to keep the grounds attractive, minor trimming on occasion.
· Replacing light bulbs in all public areas within the building and outside the building.
· Light maintenance of boilers.
· Servicing all work requests communicated by residents.
· Scheduling and performing preventive maintenance, e.g., cleaning and replacing filters, snaking drain lines, cleaning air conditioner condenser coils, sanding wood fixtures, buffing floors, patching walls.
· Ordering all necessary maintenance supplies.
· Removing snow from sidewalks and salting sidewalks as needed.
· Supervising all maintenance contracts with outside contractors, including, but not limited to Landscaper, HVAC Technician, Tree Removal Service, Carpet Repair and Cleaning Company, Wood Floor Refinishing Contractor, and Painter.
· Advising residents on matters relating to operating the equipment within each apartment and any other facilities in and around the building.
· Assisting the Rental Agent and Regional Maintenance Supervisor with special duties from time to time.
