Position DescriptionAt a GlanceLegrand has an exciting opportunity for aBusiness Data Analystto join theData Center Power & Control Division Teamin Reno, NV.Under the direction of the Operational Excellence Manager, the Business Data Analyst will support various Legrand DPC North American Operations departments by providing data analysis and reporting. The Data Analyst will leverage expertise in Power BI, SAP, and SQL to gather, analyze, and present key business metrics that drive operational efficiency, improve decision-making, and support strategic planning. The Business Data Analyst, as with all members of the Legrand Team, is expected to promote a positive work environment, demonstrate initiative, professionalism, personal awareness, integrity, and exercise confidentiality.What Will You Do?Collect and analyze data from multiple sources, including SAP, to identify patterns, forecast trends, and recommend actionable improvements.Design and develop interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards in Power BI to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.Prepare data for regular management reporting, including monthly and quarterly performance reviews, as well as strategic planning sessions.Maintain and improve existing reporting tools, ensuring that data visualization and reporting standards are consistently applied.Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline data collection and reporting processes.Generate comprehensive reports for forecasted demand to ensure buffer profiles and strategic inventory levels on components and finished goods are maintained.Develop detailed reports on top customer accounts.Display original thinking and creativity; Meet challenges with resourcefulness; Generate suggestions for improving work; Develop innovative approaches and ideas.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired SkillsEducation : Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or University with an emphasis in business analytics, data science, information technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience : Minimum 3 years of related experience in a data analysis role.Experience in developing and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
