PAY RATE: $13.66 per hour
SCHEDULE: Varying shifts Monday - Saturday
DEPARTMENT: Cemetery

JOB SUMMARY |
Performs a variety of duties related to the maintenance of:
- Cemetery Grounds maintenance
- Weed trimming around headstones
- Weeding
- Maintaining and cleaning restrooms
- Irrigation Systems
- Light and heavy equipment operating
- Great attitude and able to communicate with citizens in a respectable manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS |
- Experience in caring for grounds with a wide range of skills.
- Including but not limited to general landscaping and lawn maintenance and irrigation work.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Ability to communicate.
- Ability to learn to operate and maintain maintenance equipment such as mowers, chain saws, pruning equipment, and hand tools.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers and the public.
- Must pass a background and drug test.
- Must be 16 years old or older (Preference will be given to applicants 18 and older with a valid driver's license).

Employment in this position is conditional upon passing a pre-employment background and drug test.
