Full-Time Summer Seasonal Position (Mon-Fri 7:00am - 3:00pm)
MAJOR RESPONSIBLITIES
- Mowing, raking, digging, planting,and weeding of landscape areas.
- Loading and unloading of equipment and planting materials from trucks
- Safe operation of the following equipment:
- Mowers - walk-behind, push and riding
- Backpack sprayers and blowers
- Edgers, string trimmers, chain saws and hedge trimmers
- Handtools such as shovels, picks, rakes and pruning tools
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a valid PA driver's license
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be able to handle and lift 75 lbs.
- Ability to bend and stoop on a continual basis
- Ability to work around bees, poison ivy, pollen, thorns and other environmental risks
