Job Summary
We are looking to hire a well-spoken, kind, motivated, detail-oriented, positive, and reliable office assistant to join our wellness-focused office team. We are a professional practice that is built on Christian values; our primary goal is to cultivate a well-coordinated, compassionate, and calm atmosphere for our patients and our staff. The position is part-time 12-15 hours a week -- we may also ask you to work more hours (coordinated with other staff members) if and when there is a need. We are looking for someone who is available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 3 pm-7 pm. This job is perfect for someone who is semi-retired and/or an individual looking for meaningful long-term, part-time work.
Responsibilities and Duties
Details:
-Support the doctors wherever needed
-Communicate with patients in the office, on the phone, and via email
-Reception for new and existing patients (welcoming people to the practice)
-Answer phones
-Relay insurance and financial information
-Schedule patient appointments
-Collect patient payments in person and over the phone
-Talk to new patients and communicate information about services offered at the practice
-Must be computer literate
Job Type: Part-time (12-15 hours per week)
Salary: $14.00/hour
