Summary
Provides quality food products for both patient and cafeteria service.
Job Duties
- Ensures patient satisfaction and safety of cooked food products by complying with HACCP time / temperature principles.
- Ensures safety precautions in the cook's area.
- Ensures that all foods are at the proper serving temperature prior to service for patient and cafeteria hot food lines.
- Provides suggestions or alternatives to improve the department's service and production goals.
- Prepares food to optimal quality standards utilizing approved standardized recipes to ensure consistency.

Lift over 50 lbs. Push / pull up to 140 lbs. Carry 80 lbs. short distances. Frequent standing / walking, squatting, kneeling, crawling, climbing and reaching overhead.
