Summary
Distributes patients' enteral and supplemental feedings and snacks. Manages patient satisfaction / productivity, food costs, food service, and staff roles.
Job Duties
- Distributes patient orders for supplemental and enteral feedings / snacks.
- Ensures patient satisfaction and safety thru timely delivery of food to comply with HACCP time-temperature principles.
- Maintains par levels of food / beverages on patient units.
- Modifies patient's selections in compliance with fluid and / or diet restrictions.
- Prepares hot / cold foods to properly, thickened consistencies and / or textures per dysphagia levels.
Minimum Qualifications
Physical Demands
Lift over 50 lbs. Push / pull up to 140 lbs. Carry 80 lbs. short distances. Frequent standing / walking, squatting, kneeling, crawling, climbing and reaching overhead.
