PRIMARY FUNCTION
Manage customer service for company accounts, acting as a liaison between customers and LVP. Ensure achievement of sales and margin targets for assigned customers. Identify and pursue new business opportunities. Provide support to the outside sales team in managing both new and existing accounts.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Generate and manage quote requests, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
· Meet sales targets and margin goals through strategic account management.
· Process and confirm customer orders, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
· Track and follow up on quote requests, proactively seeking customer feedback.
· Monitor and manage scheduled shipment dates to ensure on-time delivery, expediting as necessary.
· Address profitability and revenue discrepancies by coordinating with internal and external teams.
· Process customer revisions in compliance with LVP procedures.
· Coordinate returns and rejections, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
· Collaborate with Quality Control to address customer concerns regarding parts with quality issues.
· Provide internal support to Outside Sales, focusing on growth opportunities with existing customers.
· Assist shop personnel with technical questions or concerns related to customer orders.
· Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Inside Sales Manager.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Knowledge and Skills
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
· Minimum of 3 years of customer service or sales experience in B2B or manufacturing
settings.
· Knowledge of machining and/or plastic materials is a plus but not required.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment.
· Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and creative thinking abilities.
Communication Skills
- Strong communication skills required to resolve issues and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Exceptional telephone sales skills with a personable and professional demeanor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on clarity and effectiveness.
Work Environment/Equipment
- Primarily office-based, with occasional visits out into the plant and customer sites.
- Ability to remain at a desk/computer for extended periods during the workday.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
