What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Representative position at Lehigh White Cement Company?
MISSION
This position will be responsible for white cement sales and promotional objectives in the Waco Sales Region. A successful candidate will successfully achieve sales objectives by developing and maximizing partnerships with existing customers and developing new customers.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Duties include but are not limited to:
Work independently to effectively manage large territory with significant overnight travel
Manage existing active accounts including credit issues
Increase sales by obtaining new customers
Provide technical assistance to all customers
Conduct all promotional activities within region
Actively participate in local and national trade and professional associations
Analyze and optimize distribution and logistics issues
Participate in annual forecasts, budgets and planning strategy sessions
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
Previous “Commercial” direct sales experience in a similar industry
Knowledge of the construction industry
Experience with Industry Associations
Basic understanding of Accounts Receivable.
Excellent personal interaction and organizational skills.
Self-motivated, able to effectively work with no supervision.
Computer competency using Outlook, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint.
Customer service experience.
