We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Technical Sales Manager to support our Leica Smart Projection business in the United States. This role involves identifying and pursuing business opportunities to drive growth and profitability while providing best-in-class technical support for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in technical sales within the luxury home theater or consumer electronics industry. The Technical Sales Manager - Smart Projection will play an integral role in the organization, including conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and assessing customer needs in alignment with Leica's brand and values.
Domestic travel is required.

The Technical Sales Manager - Smart Projection will play an integral role in the organization, including conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and assessing customer needs in alignment with Leica's brand and values.

Primary Responsibilities
- Execute sales strategy to achieve short-term, long-term, sustained, significant and measurable business growth
- Actively sell, establish new accounts, and routinely visit existing accounts and trade shows.
- Work closely with the Multibrand and Smart Projection team to support the US business category.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including service and logistics to support Leica Smart Projection.
- Build and manage relationships with distributors, retailers and wholesalers to expand the company's market presence.
- Negotiate agreements with clients and dealers.
- Coordinate activities with the sales team in Germany and US to ensure consistency and alignment with the company's overall strategy.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, market analysis, and reports to the leadership team.
- Product, marketing and sales training for clients and field sales personnel.
- Supports Leica Akademie Programs and other consumer programs.
Requirements And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
- 5 years of experience and proven track record business development or sales.
- Deep understanding of the home entertainment industry including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Consumer Electronics industry experience with deep client contacts and understanding of home installation business.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven track record of successfully building and managing distribution and/or retailer networks and driving revenue growth.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Able to generate sales leads and find market leaders to help our marketing efforts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Applicant must have a valid passport.
- Travel required.
