When an entire city needs to be rendered into a 3D model in-flight, utilities buried deep under soil need to be uncovered, highly complex infrastructure projects need to be implemented and even when crime scene investigation needs to be documented thats Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon. More than 5000 employees in 33 countries help us develop the latest technologies for Reality Capture, survey and measurement.
The Direct Sales Rep, Survey position is responsible for representing and selling land survey equipment and services to our Civil Survey Segment customers in northern California with a focus on the Bay Area. This is a great opportunity for a land surveyor interested in pivoting their career to sales. Sales training provided! Car travel throughout northern California required.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO :
- Sales calls and closing sales orders by assessment of customer needs and matching identified needs with Leica survey products and services.
- Advising new & existing clients on new solutions to their surveying & engineering challenges with a view to becoming more efficient & cost effective.
- Demonstration of equipment as appropriate. Equipment to include Robotic Total Stations (with & without imaging), MultiStations, GPS (Reference Networks), Data Controllers (Captivate) and Processing Software (Infinity).
- Develop new clients and maintains existing clients.
- Propose local advertising / promotion and direct mail campaigns.
- Proposes / assist in trade shows, conferences and exhibitions.
- Propose and conduct customer seminars.
- Provide assistance to clients on technical questions : refer to Technical Services or other divisions within the Corporation as required.
