What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Cafeteria Assistant position at Leicester Public Schools?
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma with training and relevant experience in food service, preferably in a K-12 setting. Must be able to meet all school nutrition program requirements, including large-scale food production, preparation, and service. ServSafe Sanitation Certification is required, or the ability to obtain certification within 60 days of hire (training provided by the employer). Experience in food service and delivering quality customer service is essential. Cashier experience is a plus. Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and perform tasks that involve bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
PERFORMANCE EVALUATION: The food service Floating cafeteria assistant shall be evaluated annually.

REPORTS TO: Food Service Unit Managers, under the direction of the Director of Food Services.
