Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Specialist / Applications Tester to join an enterprise IT program. The client's office is looking for an individual who will support the testing of a geospatial application in the client's cloud computing environment. We are looking for someone who is a team player and is willing to jump in and assist others with their work, to include being able to provide assistance and coverage when one of their team members is out. While not required skills, the ideal candidate will have experience with Scrum / Agile methodologies, an understanding of UI, and experience writing code.

In this role you will develop test plans and testing strategies for a team using Lean Agile development practices, and you will be responsible for testing all aspects of the application.
This will include :
- Setting up use case testing, regression testing, designing and running test scenarios.
- Ensuring all requirements and user stories are built as designed, assisting with writing test plans as well as detecting, tracking, reporting, and communicating any test defects, and creating tests for ad hoc situations such as replicating user reported problems under specific conditions.
- Assisting with moving the team towards Test Driven Development principles and effectively ensure the team at large has a full understanding of testing principles.
- Consolidating, recording, and reporting analysis results and working across the client's Application development teams in requirements and testing support.

Pay Range :
Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
Salary : $112,450 - $203,275
