Leidos QTC Health Services is hiring an IT Intern to support our Application Development Team. We seek juniors/seniors who are available part-time during the school year and full-time during summer/winter breaks. This position will be located on-site in San Dimas, CA.
In this role, you will be assigned tasks that are relevant and necessary to the successful execution of the LQTC Information Technology roadmap. LQTC will provide you with real world experience and technical and career mentorship throughout the internship. As a member of the Application Development Team, this position may support a broad set of IT solutions that are key enablers to the LQTC business mission.
Typical internship assignments may include:
Support to IT solutions throughout the software lifecycle, tailoring an intern’s position to their individual strengths and experience to include:
- Understanding and documenting user requirements
- Implementing software solutions
- Tailoring and configuring commercial solutions to meet business needs
- Documenting test results
- Responding to user questions
- Integrating and presenting data.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and typically maintain a Minimum GPA 3.0.
- Ability to work full time as a summer/winter intern but desired for candidate to be able to work part time now
- Quick learner, able to adapt to changing technologies and priorities
- The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership ability through community or campus involvement
- Prior experience or classroom training related to software engineering, cybersecurity, technology, business management, project management or IT support is preferred
Pay and Benefits:
Hourly range - $27 - $30 per hour
